Moong dal & Spinach fritters

Its sunday so time to eat something yummy!!!!

Lets do some “Overnight Pre soaking” and then 10 minutes to prepare this delicious snack.


1 cup – Soak green moong dal over night

1/2 cup – Soak chana dal for 2 hours

1 onion

2 green chillies

1 TSP cumin seeds

1 pinch asafoetida powder

Grind the above mixture, add 1 cup chopped spinach and salt as per taste.

Make flat vadas and tawa fry it with canola oil. (U can use any oil)

Tip: I hav added little bread crumbs (whole wheat bread) to get a thicker consistency.

Enjoy your protein & iron rich healthy snack with any dip of your choice.
