Potato Cheese Balls

Coming from an Odiya family, Potatoes have always been our staple food and one of the favorite veggie…In fact, we Odiyas can put potatoes in every curry we make…Have you thought of a chicken curry or egg curry with potatoes??? In dal ?? lol!!! …..u name it and we are ready with our favorite ingredient.

So here I present you the yummy Potato cheesy balls. Its a pretty simple recipe, which can be served to your guests in no time. But, let me warn you. Your guests would keep coming to your house every second day now 🙂 So, b ready to welcome them 🙂

And, do I hear CALORIES!!!! UNHEALTHY here ???? Well!! stop worrying about the calories, do the regular exercises and your tummy would be still fit. In case, you are still not convinced then try Air fryer or Appe pans. But, please enjoy these mouthwatering cheesy balls.

Ingredients

Potatoes: 3-4 pieces (boiled)

Onions: 1 cup finely chopped

Corn: 1 cup (boiled)

Cheese: 1/2 – 1 cup (grated)

Salt, Black Pepper and Mixed Herbs

Bread crumbs: 1/2 – 1 cup

Method

  1. Mix mashed potatoes, finely chopped onions, some boiled corns (grind them), some bread crumbs, salt, pinch of black pepper,  mixed herbs and the yummy cheese.
  2. Make round shaped balls and roll it over the breadcrumbs. Put it on your Appe pan after spreading very little oil or use air fryer or you can deep fry them.
  3. The yummy potato cheese balls are ready!!!! Serve it with any of your favorite dip.
